Liverpool agree to sell Keane to Spurs
Liverpool confirmed Monday they had agreed to sell striker Robbie Keane back to Tottenham Hotspur just months after bringing him to Anfield from their Premier League rivals.
."Liverpool Football Club have reached agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the sale of Robbie Keane," a club spokesman said.
.The news of Keane's return to White Hart Lane was announced barely an hour before the 1700GMT Monday close of the January transfer window and seems set to end an unsuccessful spell at Anfield for the boyhood Liverpool fan.
